Morpheus 8
Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency energy via microneedling to target and heat up the underlying layers of the skin to tighten and encourage collagen production. Morpheus8 is a fractional, minimally invasive treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy using a matrix of micro channels.
Morpheus8 goes far beyond traditional microneedling by targeting the deeper underlying layers of the dermis to deliver exceptional skin, tissue and collagen remodeling. This treatment penetrates deep into the skin and fat for a contoured and tightened appearance. The unique aspect of this specific device is the wide range of needle depth and energy. This allows your clinician to fully customize the treatment to target your specific concerns and desired outcomes. The deeper settings contour skin laxity and subcutaneous adipose tissue, while the superficial needle settings target surface texture, pore size, fine lines and scarring.
Before your treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied for 60 minutes to the treatment area. If needed, the area can be numbed with local anesthesia or patient treated with anti-anxiety medication. Morpheus8 is often described as a more uncomfortable procedure, so pain control is very important in order to deliver the proper settings to achieve max results. The procedure itself usually takes 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area and the patient’s pain tolerance. Each section of the treatment area is treated with multiple passes of variable depths customized by your provider.
FaceTite & AccuTite
FaceTite/AccuTite delivers radiofrequency energy using a minimally invasive incision directly under the skin to dramatically tighten and tone the skin by contracting skin and contouring fat.
- FaceTite: Targets the lower face, chin, jawline and jowls
- AccuTite: Great for targeting smaller areas like under the eyes, and marionette lines
Inmode’s “inside-out” technology is an advanced contouring system to treat various areas of a patient’s face. You can work safely within the sub-dermal plane as you contract subcutaneous fatty tissue and skin laxity using radiofrequency. This procedure provides dramatic improvement in laxity and fullness of the face and neck, which was previously only attainable through surgery such as a facelift. Compared to surgery, this allows for a safe and less traumatic route to contouring skin and melting fat.
We will typically prescribe an anti-anxiety medication to help take the edge off prior to this procedure, so this does require having a driver. Dr. Burke will then mark the treatment areas and begin numbing with local anesthesia and tumescent fluid. After this is complete, the patient should not feel any pain or discomfort. A very tiny incision (more like a small IV rather than a surgical incision) is made in the treatment area. The wand is then threaded through the hole made into the subdermal plane (picture a spaghetti noodle). Energy and heat is then slowly built up by threading this wand through the treatment area.
