Skin Resurfacing is a cosmetic, non-invasive laser procedure used to remove wrinkles, smooth texture, improve scarring and improve the overall appearance of the skin. We use the latest lasers and resurfacing technology to ensure effective and radiant results while treating a wide range of skin concerns.

Resurfacing Perfected (Erbium Laser) by Sciton

Sciton’s Resurfacing Perfected Laser is a full-field ablative laser that uses Erbium laser technology. This treatment is highly customizable depending on the severity of the patient’s skin concerns and expectations for downtime. The deeper or more intense a treatment, the longer the convalescent period. This tunable laser ablates skin layer by layer, like a sticky-note pad, until the skin condition has improved.

  • Light resurfacing with NanoLaserPeel & MicroLaserPeel: Superficial resurfacing removes a thin layer of epidermal skin to improve fine lines, tone and texture for a more youthful appearance. This is comparable to a chemical peel, but more precise and controlled in terms of depth, coverage and results.
  • Deep resurfacing with Contour TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser): Deeper resurfacing safely removes fine lines and wrinkles, including those pesky lines around the lips and eyes. This is the strongest and best corrective treatment without going under the knife for texture and wrinkles to achieve dramatic improvement for aging skin.

HALO (Hybrid Fractional Laser) by Sciton

HALO (Hybrid Fractional Laser) by Sciton is the first and only tunable hybrid fractional laser on the market that uses both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in one application. Halo treats both the epidermal and deeper dermal pigmentation, sun damage, acne scarring, skin tone and texture to even out the skin’s complexion and increase reflectivity and glow. This provides the ability to customize the treatment based on each patient’s needs for improvement in discoloration, surface texture, pore size and fine lines.

However, in order to treat deeper lines and wrinkles, TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) by Sciton, is only added to areas of concern, most often around the eyes and mouth. Halo alone will not erase fine lines or wrinkles, so the combination of TRL and HALO is a very popular treatment to get the benefits of both procedures.

PRX Derm Perfexion®

PRX Derm Perfexion is an innovative, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that stimulates collagen production and revitalizes the skin without needles, peeling, or downtime. Unlike traditional chemical peels, PRX works beneath the skin’s surface to improve tone, texture, firmness, and radiance while leaving the outer layer of skin intact. This advanced treatment can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, sun damage, and skin laxity, revealing smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin with little to no interruption to your daily routine. Safe for all skin types and year-round use, PRX Derm Perfexion delivers noticeable results after just one treatment.

Microneedling – Eclipse MicroPen

Automated Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a newer innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating surface texture, pore size, fine lines, acne scars and the overall appearance of the skin. Tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to product collagen and elastin, triggering the skin’s repair process.

  • Adding PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) or the “Vampire Facial”: The Vampire Facial is an innovative aesthetic procedure that combines PRP with microneedling. Blood is drawn from the patient, spun and then applied to the skin during the treatment. PRP stimulates the production of new collagen and improves the overall texture, tone and vibrancy of the skin. The growth factors in PRP then activate multipotent stem cells already in the skin, tricking them into “thinking” there has been an injury and new tissue should be generated.

Scar Revisions

We have several different modalities and lasers reserved for scar revisions. The treatment that is used depends on the patient’s specific scarring qualities, concerns and downtime restrictions. All are fantastic devices, but your provider will choose the best treatment plan after careful assessment and consultation. Usually 1-2 treatments are needed, sometimes 3, depending on the severity of the scarring.
