The home run nose

There are a set of particular measurements that we use to define an attractive nose. These can be angles and lengths and widths and proportions, dips and facets. In particular, a nose must still have some balance with the facial features. Incredibly, facial anatomy that trends towards the ‘normal’ or, trends towards a population ‘average’ will almost always be selected as the most beautiful or attractive. This helps us assess, measure, and plan rhinoplasty surgery, generally gravitating towards a population average. Of course, there are cultural features that will define an attractive nose culture by culture and these should be respected.

In this particular example, we were able to take an already pretty nose and move some of her features towards the “population average”, having selected these by performing a computerized morph (first performing the rhinoplasty surgery on computer morphing software). And the outcome is really spectacular. She has a feminine nose with pretty much all of the features that we use to define an attractive nose. (And I challenge anyone to see that she has had a nasal surgery. In other words, she has a very natural, attractive-looking nose.)
